Hard Bones is a political memoir about late capitalism, COVID, muay Thai, and trauma. I put it out once in 2021, then pulled it back, edited more, and now I’ve recorded it for you to hear. I attempted to edit only for clarity so as to preserve the roughness of those years. Many things have changed and I’ve learned a lot since then, so don’t expect me to die on any hills about what is written. One giant thing that has changed is that there are so many women training muay Thai and competing in locally and on the world scale, including in Bangkok’s famous stadiums that only allowed men up until a couple years ago. I’ll post the footnotes after I’ve posted all 4 parts of the story.
