Heather

Heather is a spiritual being having a material experience on stolen land. She is a writer, artist, cook, cleaner, dreamer, bus rider, organizer, pen-pal and friend. Heather is currently on hiatus from food service while she pursues a PhD in Sustainability (ostensibly the social science wing of ecology). Heather self-published her first book Hard Bones, in late 2020 and re-released an expanded/edited version in 2025. She started block printing hundreds of postcards and mailing them to friends during COVID, and the habit stuck. DISalienation (2025) is her most recent postcard project. She lives in Buffalo with her two cats, Hoagie and Omar. IG: @hardbonesheather
